#bullshitproof.school
What do young people make of bullshit? What can make you believe or disbelieve something? You're not going to fall for any old bullshit, of course not. But have you questioned your criteria in-depth?
Marketing strategies, politics, social media etc. have caused bullshit to multiply. We know, you are aware of the bullshit traps in everyday life, you wouldn't be here otherwise. And you have read and learned about our campaign (if not, start here). Now we want to dig deeper. |
Families worldwide are playing the SAVVY game to teach their children the ability to find a foothold in a world full of little and big lies, thoughtlessness and superficiality, manipulation and disinformation.
The goal is to question everything without turning distrustful of everyone, to get to the bottom of things cheerfully and to think before (re)acting. Thousands of young people and parents (usually as teachers) have brought this campaign into their classrooms, heated discussions have been held, amazing essays written and emotional talks held.
Now we want to turn an experimental game into a powerful global movement to challenge and call out bullshit in all walks of life. |
Put the idea to your entire class, as their teacher or as a fellow student, to tackle this task:
"How can we turn the #bullshitproof concept into a global motion?
How can we convince kids and adults alike to start looking at issues like political communication and changes
in society, social media and advertising, xenophobia and migration, education and intergenerational discourse, environmental issues and global food policies, national safety and international cooperation and many others
in an objective and factbased way?
How can we make it cool to stay calm and considerate instead of joining the usual storm of indignation?
Here's the point: We want folks to think before (re)acting. And to feel silly every time they didn't.
What can you win?
You win "mind-opener" savvy-support!
Every week we select the "bullshit of the week":
€ 1000,- go to straight into your pocket if you have
spotted a particular nasty piece of swindle, lie,
populist article or consumer deception that really
needs to be investigated and made public.
Please note: We're not really looking for the truly
obvious stuff (like some top politicians). We'd like
you to take a closer look!
