Global citizens 2.0

Global citizenship used to be considered elitist, a privilege.​ 
​          A privilege that was exclusive to the wealthy, the highly educated, the well-connected.

Today, global citizenship is a state of mind. 

It is a mindset, a tool and a purpose. Open to everyone.
        It will determine our children's and grandchildren's future. 
                It stands for the bigger picture, for feeling one with the planet and mankind.

In political terms, new global citizenship is a powerful counterweight to ultranationalism.
In practical terms, it gives us hands-on leverage to change things. 
​Here's why it matters: The 21st century needs all the smart and open minds it can get.

Global citizenship 2.0 says:  All our concerns are global.

Climate and environment, energy and mobility, food and health, media and politics,
science ​and research, trade and industry and all other aspects of our economy,
democracy and the future of society - they all are global issues.
​Nationalists are clearly not going to solve them.
​

Global Natives are global citizens.
