The unnormed ​job market 

This​ is a job market for talented youngsters without the school records to prove what they're capable of. And for employers who know that bad school reports and strange gaps in education careers are an invitation to take a closer look.

                                    We connect unorthodox minds and not-the-norm CVs. 😁

We all know:
In school, bright minds can fail miserably.

Promising youngsters occasionally drop out of school or take a break that ends up lasting many years. 
Some folks require an entire series of fresh starts in life before everything falls into place.
And many of us simply need a lucky coincidence for the penny to drop! 

We know that there are unlimited reasons why life does not always go according to plan. ​

What we didn't know: Just how big this is.
How big in emotions, how big in numbers ...
​                              We've clearly hit a nerve.

All of this leaves us wondering if recruitment tactics don't beg for a general rethink, right?

However, until this happens, the unnormed job market addresses the unorthodox on both ends:
The employee and the employer. And, oh dear, they really thrive on it!

Turns out, this is just the thing for artistic and creative minds, for free thinking and enterprising souls​:
They know what it is like to struggle for motivation, for perspectives, for recognition, for a chance.
An unorthodox CV doesn't strike them as weird at all. It feels quite familiar.


            They feel the pain.
            And they see the potential.

If you have a bad student's CV yourself, you know:
​These folks are resilient and use their imagination!
They're keen to bring their talents, their insights and learnings to the table.


                      They've matured and will start a new job without a sense of entitlement.
​                      They celebrate the benefit of doubt. 
​
Throwbacks will not discourage them.
Criticism? They can handle and act on it.

            Life has taught them to think around corners.
​            Troubleshooting is a sport they excel in.
            ​

Jan 2023: We installed the job market as an experiment.
So far, it's proved tremendously successful, much to our joy.
The majority of jobseekers find what they're looking for within
​three to five weeks. Entrepreneurs in the community tell us
they're no longer looking elsewhere. 

​​To this day, demand has always been higher than supply. 
June 2026: The experiment becomes a permanent feature.

​

​Clearly, academic brilliance should never lose its impact and glory.​ 
​But if it is the only benchmark for potential, everyone misses out.
