Patrick and Shameem were once fellow students.
They had studied Zoology and Wildlife Studies at the University of New Hampshire. After graduation their ways parted, both went off to work in various National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries and both travelled extensively. And for both men came a time when they were ready to settle down and have a family, so they returned to their home where their passion for wildlife and nature had found its first playground. Patrick went back to Killarney and Shameem went back to Chhattisgarh. |
They had almost forgotten each other.
But twenty-two years after their graduation their life stories crossed again: both now had three teenage kids eager to see the world and both had friends who recommended them to the Global Natives Club. The profile factors “zoology and wildlife”, a passion for nature in general and for National Parks, combined with the hope to pass this on to the next generation by getting them in touch with kindred spirits … all of this made them a match for each other – unexpected and very welcome. |
