Ukrainian Youth Day
Since the Russian army invaded Ukraine, international solidarity has grown by the hour. Food and clothing, offers of shelter and accommodation from civilians; funds and military equipment from nations. All of it is much needed.
We want to contribute what we do best: Opportunities.
Opportunities to join an international community, create partnerships with kindred spirits and find new perspectives,
Chances to plan for a life after the war. Soul food for a hungry mind.
What is the offer? |
You are a teenager in Ukraine and worry what the future may bring.
Before the invasion, you had great ambitions. You had plans. Overnight, they may seem out of reach. We invite you now to join us. Establish family partnerships and connect with peers worldwide. You will encounter young people who are dedicated to have a say in shaping the future; they are idealists who work with experienced mentors, their cooperation networks are innovative and courageous. How do you start? |

Our family partnerships are the doors to the world for kids and teens on five continents. We call them Famillages. |
Why a famillage? |
"It takes a village to raise a child. It takes a famillage to raise a global citizen."

What can they do for you? |
They give you access to the world's opportunities.
This means: Access to learn languages with native speakers, to peers and mentors from all backgrounds, and to their knowledge and skills. Famillages let you find friends and hosts, advisors and sparring partners. |

According to official statistics, there are approx. 2,5 million teens (14-19) in Ukraine. Many will, regrettably, have no or little access to the internet in the foreseeable future. Those who do can make a start and will pass the information on to others. Applications are of course also very welcome from all who had to leave home and remain in exile for some time. |
