Families from all over the world and from all walks of life get together here. They have strong common ground: Access to other languages, viewpoints and cultures, to better education, international dialogue and the opportunity to give each other access to the world. Global Native families stand for Greta's Generation and behind Fridays for Future.

CONNECTED provides highly specialized mentorship for young activists who want to be
the leading minds of tomorrow. Or simply put: Kids with a goal plus mentors who know the way.
Age group: 15+ |
For Future: Our community is a global home for Kids and Teens, Students and Teachers, Artists and Entrepreneurs, Doctors and Scientists for Future. As Global Natives for Future they can interact, find ideal matches across the planet and cooperate in mentor-mentee relationships.
CONNECTED is an experiment, it started in September 2019. We began by asking some parents and grandparents in the Global Natives family network if they were willing to share what they know. More specifically, to share with a junior member, turning a mission into a profession. All potential mentors are experts in their field. They are educators, scientists, politicians, artists, writers, doctors, lawyers, managers, journalists, investors, economists, entrepreneurs, farmers, craftsmen, producers, inventors etc. They're in the police force, the military, the government, in public service, at universities, in hospitals and wherever professionals serve society. |
More than six thousand professional women and men said YES! within the first two weeks, more are registering every day!
They all believe we will have to do things differently to survive. And that we need each other's support.

Hands-on global education. From one class to another. Kids love it!
The Shared Mindspace program lets two teenagers swap places - in school, life and family - for a year.
It's just like a classic international student exchange but entirely self-determined and without the fees!
Shared Mindspace is a simultaneous "I-take-your-place-you-take-mine" deal. The teenage students' teachers, classes and schools are actively involved from the start. The synergies benefit everyone: expenses and red tape are down to a minimum, learning power grows and the entire class can actively participate throughout the entire year.
Our students enter into these partnerships with ample preparation time to make the most of being a host and a guest. Thousands of classes have already taken part in the program, thousands of schools are now regulars and initiate new exchanges every year!

Within the Shared Mindspace exchange program, all teens - our exchange students as well as their class mates - are encouraged and supported to focus on climate change issues, on social and political topics and on options to pursue specific studies in-depth. Cooperation between teachers lets kids compare national models: "How does your country handle this and how do we? What can we learn from each other?"
|
We encourage and help classes to enter into a dialogue with places of research & development as well as industry contacts - many classes have visited waste incinerations plants, recycling facilities, factories and university labs to name but a few. Together with their partner classes they sum up what has been learned, document it and draw up a synopsis.
Schools with an economic focus are preferably matched with schools focusing on ecological topics, aiming for synergies. |
As from September 2019 all our class-to-class partnerships have official "Greta's Generation" status.
They receive focused support, ongoing evaluation and constant improvement.
